Frank Goobio_ the architect of the Drag a Leg Band _ he composes, he plays and performs. an experimental musician, trying not to think too much about formulae, figures/numbers. "my concerns lay down on shapes, textures, scents, flavours and melodies... i would like to no know how to fly, to have a decent hair cut and know my way back home."
The Band_ the support_ they play, sing, dance and do everything a band's suppose to do. It has some human members but it is mostly composed by virtual ones. normally they are:

Test a tesT is the product of Frank Goobio's first solo project, performed by him self and a group of virtual and non-virtual interpreters that go by the name of "The Drag a Leg Band".
It is a set of musical experiments composed in the last few years. Some of these themes never saw the light of day. Hope you enjoy it!!

Born in 2002, micro_bios is an Essay Collective project. this one is a musical initiative of EZ AYR (Goobio Memory Recordings) and tOY sHOP kID(s) (daily misconceptions).
while playing children don't loose too much time thinking about institutional pressures, they don't comprehend concepts like rock, electro, indie, drum'n'bass, trip-hop, etc., essentially because it is a matter that they don't even care about. ez ayr and tOY sHOP kID(s), are two boys that had the chance to play with children of the same age and to express them selves through their music in a natural, free and randomly way. but... despite feeling completely free while playing, these two boys are not alone in this world and they cannot avoid the influence of grownup world, too much rationalized and institutionalized.
"an essay on a symbiosis" (EP) was the result of their first playground encounter.

Born in the last century in the year of 1996 and deceased in 1999 , Drool Sniper was a Punk Rock band.
It was Frank Goobio's first musical adventure.
It may seem that it has nothing to do with the work now performed by the Goobio, Memory Recordings. You may even ask "why the hell is this thing here?". Totally wrong evaluation! Drool Sniper is like the Latin language: it's the roots to all the work that you see in this book of memories, it's dead but still studied and understood.

It's a soundscape for a sequence of 80 photo-slides. A (re)collection of slides manually manipulated with several materials and punctured by several types of needles.
It is a collection of 80 foto-slides manipulated (no photoshop) by the Spanish visul artist Pedro Luis Cembranos and OST by Frank Goobio called MINDNOISE. Find Description in "Sound for image". Next thing to do... I'll try not to forget about it!

It is an Iberic (Portugal + Spain) project with the cooperation of Goobio, Memory Recordings. They've had 2 events the 1st one took place in Madrid - May 2008 and the second in Braga (Portugal) - June 2009; there was music, dance, painting, photo, video art and more. Soon there will be a call for artists to their next event.
All the available information in this site is Frank Goobio's responsibility. He's a member of the Essay Collective, which is a group of Portuguese artists working over digital art. The main goal of any member of this Collective is to try and do something (some project, presentation, performance) new, challenging, and never made before by him/her self.
Hence, any project being developed today may and/or should be different tomorrow.
